About Our President

Captain Scott McCaffrey, Merchant Marine Master of power and
sail vessels 150GT, is the founder and president of The Customer Service Group,
Inc. and has been an entrepreneur since age 15, starting his own outboard motor
repair business with the help of his grandfather.
After years of working for his father’s trucking company and
obtaining general manager status for his last two years, he decided it was time
to move back to marine related work.
He is the founder and past president of Aquanaut Enterprises,
Inc., a commercial diving company.
While there, he worked in Australia and New Zealand, and visited Fiji
and Hawaii for exploration and research.
He led commercial dives and was a SCUBA diving instructor in New
England, Florida, and in different parts of the Caribbean. And, among other inventions, he is the
inventor of the Collapsible Diving Mask acquiring U.S. Patent #5,555,571 dated
September 17, 1996.
During that time at Aquanaut Enterprises, he started AquaYachts, a
worldwide yacht charter company that is now a subsidiary of The Customer
Service Group. As an avid seaman in
both power and sail, the yachting industry seemed a natural direction. Within one year of starting AquaYachts, he
purchased a derelict old yacht to put into charter service in New England and
S.E. Florida. After evicting the
pigeons that were living on the ghost ship, he started the enormous restoration
project. The efforts of the captain and
crew resulted in a successful business in chartering the elegant and classic
motor yacht MOONDANCE.
After building a relationship with various corporate and private
clients in the marine industries, Captain Scott decided to offer a type of
land-based entertainment. Research for
a viable and new idea ensued. He chose
mobile rock climbing and started Altitude
Rocks. What arose, was the
first, and what was soon to be, the largest mobile rock climbing company in New
England.
Once things were rolling smoothly, it was time to venture out
again. There was an air conditioner
company slowly deteriorating which he was trying to purchase for a while. After a couple years of efforts, he was
finally able to come to an agreement with the owner. With several conditions including changing the name,
approximately half the company was purchased.
Air Conditioner Maintenance
was born, and has more than doubled in size.
FreePhone Services
was the result of too much daydreaming.
That’s something Captain Scott is well known for. It has been mainly based in Florida, but is
making a move on New England as of the copy date of this biography.
To get back in touch with his past upbringing in the earthmoving
industry, Captain Scott started Pay Dirt Construction. This includes rental of trucks and heavy
equipment, and real estate construction and development.
Captain Scott was asked by so many people to offer other forms of
entertainment, that he decided the golf industry was a good subject to study;
hence the start of Eventful Golf
Entertainment. A company that rents
driving range simulators.
In 2007, Artworx Signs & Graphics, a company which had produced all the signage and promotional materials for Captain Scott and his companies for the previous 12 years, was purchased. It is now a thriving part of The Customer Service Group.
We, at The Customer Service Group, realize that a good portion of
Captain Scott’s life has been devoted to starting and running companies, and we
look forward to the challenge of wading through each new idea, and working side
by side each and every year.
I would like to thank all the people who have helped me
along the way including family, friends, and crew. Thank
you, Scott
